AIBWSI History
Established in September
Established in September 2013 by a handful of schools, we have grown into a strong and active association representing almost all IB schools in Italy. AIBWSI is a non-profit association.
Through our collaborative outreach we now connect IB World Schools across Italy and our local geographical region, as well as globally through cross-association partnerships. We provide a platform for student leadership, professional learning and growth, mutual support, and representation on educational matters of common interest both locally and globally.

Sharing Best Practice
To share best practice in international education with IB World Schools operating and offering different IB Programmes in Italy and across IB associations globally. Connecting global best practices with local contexts to prepare young people to find their place in an ever evolving and complex world.

Learning & Development
To encourage continuous growth in learning and teaching by coordinating both student and staff exchange experiences, student competitions, summits and professional development opportunities, both locally and globally hosted.
